Bite Disease

Oral health refers to the health of your mouth, including your teeth, gums, jaw, and bacteria. Excellent oral health is necessary for total body wellness to be achieved.

Your teeth are supposed to last a lifetime and ae designed to be problem free. Bite disease can cause premature tooth loss or damage to the teeth for both children and adults.

Bite Disease can also cause unsightly tooth damage that may affect one’s appearance, facial aesthetics, and the confidence that comes from a great smile.

Important Measurables in Assessing Bite Disease

  • Do you clench or grind your teeth?
  • Do you avoid any foods because they are difficult to chew?
  • Do you have pain in your jaw joint or the muscles of your face?
  • Do you wear any type of bite appliance?

When bite disease is stabilized our teeth should show no evidence of change year after year!
